~Lion King Hero Thoughts~
There is always one person in life that stands out because of how they act or care about others. My hero is Russell Westbrook, the star point guard of the Oklahoma City Thunder. One reason I like Russell is that he is very selfless just like Mufasa in Lion King when he helped Simba become a king, he very well could have never taught him anything but he choose to think about someone else before himself. Also just like Nala in the Lion King, Russell has definitely had teammates that want to quit because they are frustrated but he has convinced them to push through tough times while telling them everything will work out fine in the long run. Lastly, Russell is similar to the character Simba in Lion King because Simba tries to listen to his father which helps him out at the end of the story by speaking from heaven on what Simba should do. Therefore, Russell Westbrook, my hero I now know can relate to some of the caring and funny characters in the Lion King.
